The event that sponsors four scholarships for softball players that are going to college will return for its fifth season.

“4Mick4TheGame” was created to honor Mikayla Focht after her tragic death in 2017. Mikayla was killed while riding as a passenger on an ATV.

In 2017, Jim Payne and Brenda Johnsonbaugh asked Mikayla’s parents, Dawn and Jamie, about holding a softball tournament to support a scholarship the parents had started. They agreed, and the tournament was born. Initially, it was supposed to be a one-year event, however due to much support and participation, it became an annual experience.
