The Hyundai Women in STEM Scholarship: Top Scholarships for Women 2022

Hyundai is gearing prepared to help women in the United States get a good education via its existing scholarship program. To be eligible for the prize, candidates must be high school seniors or college students interested in a STEM-related career.

The award was established with the goal of closing the gender gap in engineering and mobility-related disciplines. The students will be able to pay all of the costs associated with completing their higher education and will undoubtedly achieve their objectives.

Hyundai Motor Company is a global automobile manufacturer based in South Korea. It is the world’s third-biggest car manufacturer and maintains the world’s largest integrated automotive production complex in Ulsan, South Korea.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the following conditions in order to be considered for this scholarship:

  • Seniors in high school and college freshmen are required.
  • You must identify as a woman.
  • Must be a permanent resident of the United States.
  • A desire to work in a STEM-related sector of education is required.

How to Make an Application

To be considered for the scholarship, qualified girls must submit their applications with all needed documentation online using a submission form.

An essay of 500 words or more on why you chose a STEM-related area as your future career.

The essay should be written in Google Docs, with your complete name and year in a university program included at the top (2020 graduating high school seniors allowed).

A link to your essay is required.

Procedure for Submitting an Application

Hyundai is on a mission to promote electrification and sustainability in a proactive manner. In your chosen STEM sector, write a 500-word essay on the steps you’ll take to make a good move toward sustainability. Then, on your application form, attach a link to your essay.

Amount of the Scholarship

Five $10,000 scholarships will be awarded.

The Lillian Moller Gilbreth Memorial Scholarship is an annual prize given by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to female students who are interested in engineering. Each candidate must identify as a female and be a rising junior or senior in an ABET-accredited undergraduate student program pursuing an engineering or engineering technology degree.

Amount: $17,000

The Tiffany Green Operator Scholarship, offered by the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation and Live Nation, is designed to “help women pursuing a career in live entertainment.” Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled at an approved college or university, have completed at least 60 credit hours, and have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

$10,000 in scholarship funds

The Ralph W. The Chevron Corporation, a worldwide energy firm, and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), an organization dedicated to advancing the interests of women in engineering fields, have teamed together to give a scholarship to female engineering students. Students from all schools are eligible, but students from Hispanic-serving institutions and historically black colleges and universities are given priority, with a focus on Florida International University (FIU), Prairie View A&M University, Tuskegee University, North Carolina A&T University, and the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez.

Amount of Scholarship: $5,000
