AnSyMo (Antwerp Systems Modelling) in Antwerp, Belgium has a vacant position for a post-doctoral researcher with relevant expertise on test automation in a DevOps context. Belgium is centrally located in Europe, and the lab is well-connected with other research teams worldwide. A postdoc period in our groups is an ideal stepping stone for an independent research career in academia or industry. Our teams host researchers of various nationalities, hence the working language is English.
The position is part of the BaseCamp Zero project, which aims to advance towards the dream of fully autonomous (= zero-touch ) software testing. The project will build upon recent advances in test generation and test amplification to enrich them in the context of a cloud-native application. An advisory board consisting of ten representative industrial partners will oversee the application potential. BaseCamp Zero is a joint project between the University of Antwerp (a YUFE connected university) and Brussels University. The project will last for four years so this leaves ample time to strengthen your network, both from an academic as well as industrial perspective.
Interested applicants should reach out to Prof. Serge Demeyer (https://win.uantwerpen.be/~sdemey/) before officially applying. We will conduct formal on-line interviews somewhere in August.
