Some popular social media skit makers and comedians like Taooma, Josh2funny, Woli Agba and others are currently being dragged by social media users, after pictures of their visit to the Vice President of the country, Yemi Osibanjo, were released to the public.
The comedians who are under the umbrella of an association called Nigeria Skits Industry Awards (NSIA), were led by its promoter, Bimbo Daramola to pay the country’s VP a courtesy visit.
Speaking in a statement released by his spokesman, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo said,
“I strongly believe that what our young people are doing and what they are capable of is what will lead our country to where we are meant to be….
The visit did not actually go down well with most Nigerian youths online as they quickly began dragging them.
Some were of the opinion that 2023 is around the corner and the visit had a political motivation.
While others claimed to have unfollowed the said comedians, the rest advised them to emulate Mr. Macaroni who they termed as a freedom fighter.
