A Nigerian doctor has dismissed the popular belief among Nigerians that malt drink and milk give blood, saying malt and milk will not give you blood. Ugwu
The medical practitioner identified as @aproko_ doctor, on twitter made this statement in a post he shared on Twitter.
A tweep simply identified as Sandra, earlier asked for his verdict on drinking malt and milk to generate blood.
He rubbished the belief but however advocated that mixing Ugwu leafs (Pumpkin) are best for blood generation.
According to the online doctor real names, Dr Chinonso Egemba, mixing and drinking the fluids squeezed out of the vegetable, provide iron needed for red blood cells
Has @aproko_doctor said anything about malt and milk? What was the verdict?
‘Malt and M.ilk will NOT give you blood’. You’re better off mixing Ugwu leaves and drinking to get iron which is the major thing needed for red blood cells.
