SARATOGA SPRINGS – A job fair for those interested in working at the 2022 summer meet of the Saratoga Race Course will be held Thursday, June 23 to Saturday, June 25 inside the 1863 Club, according to the New York Racing Association.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Job seekers should enter through the clubhouse gates at the intersection of Wright Street and Frank Sullivan Way. Parking will be available at the clubhouse lot.
Opportunities include: hospitality ambassadors, guest services, cashiers, parking attendants, ticket scanners, Bets Squad representatives, white caps/ushers, box office, betting clerks, parking attendants, technology interns, security guards, porters, cooks, waitstaff, merchandise clerks, concessions supervisors and cashiers, cleaners, and warehouse workers.
Positions are available with NYRA, Integrated Staffing, Levy Restaurants, Mazzone Hospitality, AmTote International, Dyehard Fan Supply, AllPro and Union Square Events, among others.
Applicants must be at least 15 years of age and have New York State Certified Working Papers. Prospective security guards, cashiers and betting clerks must be at least 18 years of age to apply and security guards must have a high school degree or GED. All applicants must present a photo ID and Social Security card or I-9 alternative.
The meet runs from Thursday, July 14 to Monday, Sept. 5. Following the four-day opening weekend, racing will be conducted five days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays, apart from the final week, when the meet will conclude on Labor Day.
