Radiologic Technologists at VA are at the forefront of their career field.
They perform X-rays, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasounds, CAT scans and MRIs for those who have bravely served our country. With their assistance, providers can diagnose diseases, monitor the progress of treatment, and help Veterans lead longer, healthier lives.
“The VA is different—it is purpose driven to serve Veterans,” said Brandon Johnson, VA Salt Lake City MRI technologist.
Brandon joined the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System a little over a year ago after working in the private sector for decades. He is impressed that he works with the latest state-of-the-art equipment in an updated facility with a purpose-driven mission. He sees that VA offers increased opportunity for someone trying to advance in the career field.
“VA likes to train their people and they like to promote their people, and that really helps keep good employees,” said Brandon, who just started a new position at the medical center.
If you want to build a rewarding career helping Veterans and work for one of the nation’s best large employers, VA Salt Lake City has several open positions for Radiological Technologists.
