ASD Ascend Autism College Scholarships

Autism college scholarships are one way to help finance your education if you have autism. There are many different types of scholarships available, each with their own requirements. While some are for students with autism, others are for parents of autistic children. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with autism who are enrolled in a college in the United States and pursuing an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree are eligible for the ASD Ascend 2022 Autism College Scholarships. Scholarships for autistic programs, aspergers college programs, and other college assistance programs may be transferred straight to tuition or fees. Scholarships are only available for the year 2022.

Scholarship recipients must provide proof of an autistic diagnosis. It is not necessary to acquire an ASD Ascend membership in order to apply for a scholarship. Purchasing a database subscription will not boost your chances of receiving a scholarship.

A scholarship committee will choose the winners in January 2022, and they will be informed via email by early February 2022. Winners must agree to have information from their applications published on the ASD Ascend website, blog, or social media platforms, such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Previous winners are not eligible to apply.

Clarence Harmon, Melanie Shaw, Sarah Brisman, Hunter Garrett, and Ryan Slaughter are the recipients of the ASD Ascend 2021 Autism College Scholarship. The following blog pieces will tell you more about the winners: “How do scholarship winners manage with autism and college?” and “How do scholarship winners cope with autism and college?” “Do college autism programs help students succeed?” and “Do college autism programs help students succeed?”
