FBI Has Contacted Us to Arrest Abba Kyari But We Told Them It Is A Police Matter – EFCC Source Reveals

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has revealed that it got contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to carry out the arrest of Nigeria’s Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, due to his involvement with a convicted internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi.

A top source in the EFCC confirmed the report and told SaharaReporters today Thursday, July 29, that the case against the Super Cop was beyond the capacity of the EFCC and has been shifted to the police.

“FBI has contacted EFCC, asking that we arrest Abba Kyari but we told them that it is a police matter,” the EFCC source said.

SaharaReporters also reported that they tried to contact the Nigeria Police Force, but never got any details concerning the allegation levelled against Abba Kyari, one of their officers who has received praises and awards for his service over the years.

Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California has given an order to the FBI to track down the suspect, Abba Kyari and extradite him to the United States for his involvement in a multi-million dollar fraud with convicted cyber fraudster, Hushpuppi.
