Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has questioned the zeal employed by the Federal government in arresting leader of indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
According to him, if government can go that far to a foreign land to arrest the IPOB leader, they should use that same energy to apprehend the Fulani herdsmen, who continue to claim responsibility for terrorizing and killing many Nigerians.
Governor Ortom wrote;
If the federal government has the capacity to arrest Nnamdi Kanu in a foreign land, they should exhibit the same zeal to arrest armed Fulani herdsmen who are terrorizing our country. The herdsmen have claimed responsibility for the killing of many Nigerians.
Benue state has witness their fair share of incessant attacks and killings carried out killer herdsman as many people have lost their lives even the governor has suffered a similar attack, while he was at his farm in Gboko.
