Abba Kyari Reacts To The Arrest Of Nnamdi Kanu In A Foreign Country



Inspector-General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IGP-IRT) and deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari has weigh in on the apprehension of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu outside Nigeria.

The Inspector, who served at the Lagos State Police Command as the Officer-In-Charge of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), took to his official Facebook page to react over the recent arrest of Kanu, through the joint efforts of the Nigerian intelligence and security agencies.

Nnamdi Kanu, who was initially arrested by DSS on the October 18 2015, travelled out of the country after been granted bail due to his health condition, never returned and his disappearance and failure to appear for trial, made the judge to cancel the bail conditions given to him and demanded his re-arrest.

In a recent broadcast made by the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, stated that the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested and flown back to Nigeria, through the help of Nigerian security services.

Reacting to the news of the arrest, Abba Kyari made a comment that anybody or group working against the Nigeria’s unity will ever succeed. The inspector also added that the battles against banditry, kidnapping and Boko Haram activities as well as other group causing destructions in the country shall continue.

He wrote;

“Nigeria is the only Country we have, All those planning and working towards destroying Nigeria will never Succeed by GOD’s Grace. The battles against Boko Haram, Bandits and other criminals across the country continues. This Country will be Greater and better by his Grace”
