A photo of a suspension letter from College of Nursing and Midwifery, Maiduguri, Borno state handed to one of its students for allegedly failing to welcome president Buhari on his visit to Borno state has emerged online.
According to the letter, the student was handed a one week suspension with effect from June 21th to last till June 28th for disobeying an executive order to welcome the president who visited the State on June 17th.
It also states that soon as the suspension expires on June 28th, the student is expected to report to school with his or her parents or guardian.

Can someone tell me what is going on in Nigeria? How do you suspend a student because the student failed or refused to welcome Buhari to Borno State? Isn’t this madness for crying out loud? What sort of absurdity and dictatorship is this?
