Mixed Reactions As Soldiers Were Spotted Escorting Herdsmen As They Flout Open Grazing

A video making rounds online has captured the moment soldiers were seen allegedly escorting herdsmen while they flout the open grazing.

According to the former aide to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri who shared the video on his Facebook page, he noted that the incident happened at Ijebu Ode, Lagos state.

The video clip, which has gone viral, had gotten the attention of Nigerians across the county as they react over the new development.

It could be recalled that President Muhammad Buhari during a recent interview with Arise TV disclosed that he told the Attorney general of the country to begin process that will enable the open grazing route system for Herdsmen.

Open Grazing is a method adopted by herdsmen to allow their cattle feed on any plant they see within the country.

According to the voice that was heard on the background of the video, it alleged that soldiers were seen in their Hilux escorting herdsmen with their cows along Ijebu Ode. This is indeed a great shock to Nigerians as soldiers who are meant to protect the lives of citizens are now taking care of livestocks.

Many Nigerians were so disappointed as they took to their comment section to pour out their opinions and about the new development.
