Senator Shehu Sani has rendered his own assistance to those who won’t be able to access twitter in Nigeria after its suspension by federal government of Nigeria.
Recall the social media giants was suspended indefinitely by the federal government after it took down the tweet of Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari for violated its rules, in a tweet, where he threatened to deal with a section of Nigerians ‘in a language they understand’, inciting the experience of the civil war.
Nigerians woke up today,June 5 and discovered that they can’t access twitter anymore and to ease the pain of not tweeting, Senator Sani gave ways Nigerians at different locations can bypass the ban and tweet again.
In a series of tweets, he wrote
If you live in Lagos and want to tweet,just go to Cotonou,tweet and come back.
Those of you from the South South who want to tweet,take a Boat through your Creeks to Cameroun,tweet and come back.
Those of you from the North,if you want to tweet,take a train to Maradi in Niger Republic,tweet and return home.
