Photo Of Alleged Mastermind Of Imo Attacks With Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Surfaces Online

Photo of alleged mastermind of the attacks that have been occurring in Imo state, Nnamdi Okafor with leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has surfaced online after he was allegedly arrested.

According to reports, Nnamdi Okafor was allegedly arrested for allegedly championing the activities of the unknown gunmen which connected to the many killings, burning down down government properties such as correctional centre as and also police stations in Imo state.

Vanguard earlier reported that Nnamdi Okafor, a director of Pecubel Hotel was arrested at Aboha-Ohi around lifeline Assembly Owerri/Orlu road in Imo state.

Few hours after his arrest, a photo of Nwafor with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu surfaced online. In the photo which was shared in 2020 was captioned with “The only man we can die for, hope for Kanu, hope for our Biafra”

A Twitter user with the handle @lollylarry shared the photo and wrote;

Good News: One of the sponsors of the “ungun known men” responsible for killings and burning of Police stations in Imo has been arrested, his name is Nnamdi Okafor and guess what, he’s an IPOB member…. Las Las the unknown are getting known.

11 IPOB And ESN Officers Reportedly Killed By The Nigerian Army

The Nigerian Army has reportedly killed 11 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Eastern Security Network.

This was made known to the general public via a statement released by Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima, the spokesman for the Army in Imo State.

Part of the statement reads,

“The attackers were resisted by vigilant police personnel at the Area Command and were completely obliterated when a reinforcement team of the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Air Force arrived the scene.
“The assailants who have been on the radar of the Joint Technical Intelligence Team were said to have come from a Forest Camp in Ideato North LGA of Imo State from where they mobilised and planned the failed attack.”
