Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has taken to twitter to advise young ones not to be in a rush to be successful because it may lead to depression or sometimes suicide, if their goals are not achieved or don’t come early.
According to Rema, young people put too much pressure on themselves to be successful while they are still young, because they think if they are not successful now, they have failed in life.
He urged them to be patient with lthemselves and not to pressurise themselves, adding that not everyone who is rich is happy.
Here is what he wrote;
‘Too many youths depressed and committing suicide because they want to be rich and famous early, pressuring yourself because if you’re not a success early you’re not a success at all! Be patient! Not everybody with money is HAPPY!’
