‘If The Catholic Church Fails To Defrock This Man, He Will Rubbish Their Name’ — Reno Omokri Attacks Rev Fr Mbaka, Calls Him An Author Of Confusion

Ex-presidential aide to former Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has attacked the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka over his recent comments about insecurity in Nigeria.

The clergyman, who was one of the hardcore supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari during the 2015 general elections, recently attacked the President, over the recent increase in kidnapping, banditry and destruction of government properties across the country.

Fr Mbaka made his congregation to understand that if what is happening in Nigeria happens in a civilised country, President Buhari would have given up his position and resign for failing in his constitutional duty to provide adequate security for Nigerians. He urged the House of Representatives to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari if he refuses to resign.

Responding to Fr Mbaka’s statement, Reno in a recent post via his official Instagram page slammed the clergyman and called his an “Author of confusion”.

According to him, Rev Mbaka would tanish the image of the Roman Catholic Church if he is not defrocked.

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Reverend Father Ekije Camillus Anthony, Ebenezer Mbaka has stepped out to challenge the All Progressive Congress (APC), to report him to the Pope.

This is coming following a statement published online by Fr. Mbaka, where he asked the House of Representatives to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari if he refuses to resign as the country’s insecurity challenges increases daily.

In response to his statement, APC warned him not to take his luck too far because there is a lot to tell the pope about him. They further described his statement as ungodly.

Reacting to APC’s threats, Reverend Mbaka on Sunday, May 2, while delivering homily in his Ministry at Emene Enugu, challenged The All Progressive Congress to report him to the pope as he said that Pope Francis will be happy and will give him accolades if he hears that he is criticising a bad government in his country.

In his words;

“The pope will clap for me if he hears that I am challenging a bad government in Nigeria. So, the APC can go ahead and report me to him.

“The Pope may even give me a position I may not want to handle,” Rev. Mbaka said.
