The United Nations, UN, has publicly denied awarding any ambassadorial deal to popular Nigerian actress, Tonto Dike.
Recall the actress took to her social media pages to post a new ambassadorial deal which is a UN Noble International Ambassador And Brand Ambassador For Nigeria, she claimed it was from the international organization and has been receiving accolades from Nigerians, most especially her fans. But contrary to her claim, the Director of United Nations Information Centre for Nigeria, Ronald Kayanja, has denied the organisation gave the actress any award, adding that the award is illegal and has nothing to do with United Nations.
The statement from the UN country rep has led to the actress receiving a lot of backlashes online.
This isn’t the first time that an organisation has denied giving the actress an award, earlier this year, the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission also distanced itself from an ambassadorial deal given to the actress allegedly credited to the organization.

The Nigerian Army has reportedly killed 11 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Eastern Security Network.
This was made known to the general public via a statement released by Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima, the spokesman for the Army in Imo State.
Part of the statement reads,
“The attackers were resisted by vigilant police personnel at the Area Command and were completely obliterated when a reinforcement team of the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Air Force arrived the scene.
“The assailants who have been on the radar of the Joint Technical Intelligence Team were said to have come from a Forest Camp in Ideato North LGA of Imo State from where they mobilised and planned the failed attack.”
