400 Level Female Medical Student Talks About Quiting Medical School For Her Shoe-Making Business (Photos)

A 400-level female medical student has narrated how she prefers to quit the medical school for the shoemaking business if she was given the option to choose between the two.

The Lady identified as Adeosun Goodness Taiye, a 400 level student of Dentistry at University College Ibadan (UCH) who spoke to Daily Trust about how her shoemaking business started.

Goodness claimed to have learnt most of the crafts from the internet although she employed a man with 25 years experience in the business to work for her.

According to her, the business all started when she made the product for herself which caught the eyes of her classmates which in turn requested she made the shoes for them.

Speaking on her education and her business, Goodness said, “I will probably abandon the medical school and pursue shoe-making because it will bring more money compared to the stipend they pay Doctors in Nigeria. I just want to have the certificate, honestly speaking. I would have just left it but I feel people will respect you more when you have a certificate.”
