A Nigerian man had taken to social media to narrate an ugly experience he had with ushers who allegedly collected part payment upon their agreement but disappointed them during his cousin’s traditional marriage.
According to the Twitter user identified as @CaptDanky, he noted that they made an agreement with some event ushers and had paid half of the payment they charge but unfortunately a day to the event, the event ushers contacted them and informed that they can’t make it to the event.
Out of frustration, he went on a search for available ushers who can cover up the event, fortunately he got them through popular classified ads platform known as jiji and all was solved and the event went well.
Read his story below:
During my cousin’s traditional marriage last week, the event ushers had disappointed us a day to the event after contacting them. We had even paid part payment in preparation for the event only for them to call a day to the event saying they can’t do it.
My cousin was so frustrated and off balance that she must crying even though she pretended nothing was wrong. I was able to persuade her to tell me what exactly the problem so we can find a solution to it and she mentioned it to me.
I told her not to worry that I’d take care of it on her behalf. I took my phone and opened the services category on my app, I searched for an affordable and close one which I got. I contacted the management and stated the number of ushers I needed.
They asked to get back to me within a short time and later confirmed the availability of the ushers. I approached my cousin to let her know about the development while she was still in her state of regret. She was so excited and immediately contacted them.
I could see the happiness in her face while she talked on phone. That’s the kind of services you should render people to put a smile on their faces on their big day.
