A Cameroonian UFC fighter, Francis Ngannou has become the new heavyweight championship after he defeated Stipe Miocic in the second round of UFC 260 on Saturday night in Las Vegas, United States.
Ngannou landed a couple of heavy punches early in the second round and brought Miocic against the corner of the cage.
Miocic recovered in time to hit Ngannou and was confident he was in the advantage position in the moment, but unknowingly opened himself up for more nasty punches and kicked from the African man.
Ngannou finally landed a devastating hook on Miovic that completely caught him off-guard and then did the final damage on top of him for the victory.
It was a complete turn around from their first match at UFC 220 more than 3years ago, when the fight ended in the fifth rounds. Ngannou lost by unanimous decision and crawled back than from 2018 defeat to get finally get his revenge to become the 17th undisputed heavyweight champion in UFC history and also the first African to do so.
