Armed robbers in large numbers have reportedly attacked a petrol station in Zimbabwe where they made away with the total money worth $15,000 which they realised from sales during the operation.

According to reports, the armed spent up 3 hours and made sure they gathered enough money, while selling the products as they were reported to have gathered some cash at the station and then decided to stand as fuel attendants.

When they walked into the fuel station, on realising the station had few cash than they expected and in order not to go home with small money, they decided to take over the fuel attendant positions and start selling to unsuspected customers who thought they were genuine workers of the station.

According to news making round on social media, the operation lasted for not less than 3 hours before they gathered enough money for themselves and left the station.

However, the total amount of cash they made away with is yet to be officially disclosed at the time of filing this report, but it is estimated to be within $15,000.

Nevertheless, no life was lost but some people was injured during the operation.

Many social media users have reacted after the video surfaced online, as some condemned the attack while some opined they should have sold to the motorist free of charge.
