Bandits Abduct Female Students In Kaduna

Unknown gunmen alleged to be bandits have reported kidnapped female students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation located in Mando area of Kaduna State, Nigeria.

 

ASP Mohammed Jalige, the Police Public Relations Officer, while speaking with Daily Trust, confirmed the abduction but stated that the exact number of students abducted is unknown.

He also added that the Police was working closely with the Nigerian Army to trace the abductors and immediately rescue the kidnapped students.

An eye witness speaking to BBC, said half of the female students in the school were taken by the abductors but they didn’t take any single male student.

Also Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, has confirmed the incident and disclosed that investigation into the incident is presently going on.
