Published

on

A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions on social media after she said that nothing will ever convince her to continue to fetch watch in her husband’s house after she had gone through it in her parents’ house.

According to the lady named Chidimma Onyekachi Nnamani who took to Facebook to share this, she revealed that it is abnormal for woman to be fetching water after getting married, adding that a man should consider having a borehole in his house before thinking of settling down.

Her post has generated several reactions and counter reactions as many social media users took to the comment section of the post to blast her while some advised her to pray and work hard.

In her words:

After fetching water in my father’s house, I will also come to my husband’s house and be fetching water?
That’s a big lie👎

Checkout some reactions below:

Martin Chukwu: This is how some ladies put their husbands into high blood pressure. If your father and ur brothers didn’t work hard to put all that in order for your family, don’t complain in ur husband house because what hold your family hold husband family too. Pray to God, to put things in order for your family and family you will enter tomorrow.

Clifford Juliet Ngozi: Me they marry from township and drop me in the village… U never see marriage.

Chisom Orji: Your mother fetched water in her father’s house and still fetch it in your father’s house, if GOD wish you the same no body can change it, because another lady will come to your father’s house to do the same.

Odera Ugwuoke: You’re very correct my dear, my house girls don’t even fetch water, I can’t rent or own a house without at least a wall water to pump. Water is of great importance to me esp when you have a full house. But I personally work so hard to contribute in the expenses of the house. So be ready to contribute.

Obum Blaq Whiteheart Madugba: At least you should agree that your husband is better than your father.

Queen Adaora Ezinne Etche:

Hmmmm
There’s nothing wrong just look for a way to work it out

Dig well
Sink borehole
Build ur own house and equip it to ur taste
Buy from tanker often
Pay someone to fetch for u
Use ur car to go and fetch
Etc

That thing is the least of my marital worries.

Precious Ginika: Why can’t u work and get a tank for ur parents and always fill it with water ? It’s not that expensive u know. Get them those things u know u love using since they can’t afford it, provide that luxury for them and if they dnt know how to use them teach them.

Nkechinyere Osodieme Onyedika: Did you not cook in your father’s house, why are you still cooking in your husband’s house?

He said the two viable means to get wealthy are by working and starting up a business for these are what God needs to bless and not by shouting ‘Hallelujah’, typing ‘Amen’ and sowing seeds.

Posting via twitter, he wrote;

“If you want to be wealthy. I prophesy that it can happen.

It won’t happen by typing ‘amen’.

It won’t happen by shouting ‘hallelujah’.

It won’t happen by sowing a ‘seed’.

It WILL only happen if you WORK or do BUSINESS. God bless your hustle!”
