#UGANDA2021: President Yoweri Museveni Wins His Sixth Term In Office

The electoral commission of the Republic of Uganda has announced the victory of President Yoweri Museveni as president of the country on Saturday 16th 2021, despite claims of vote rigging by his opposition, Bobi Wine.

This makes it his sixth term in office as president of the Uganda since 1986. He won with 58% votes and Wine 34% vote.

The election commission chairman, Justice Simon Mugenyi has urged the people to remain calm and accept the outcome of these elections and those celebrating to do so in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

Wine, a 38 year old former singer has refused to accept the result, calling it a “complete sham.”

Elon Musk Becomes World’s Richest Person Again After Making $10billion In A Day.

Billionaire, Elon Musk has reclaimed his position as the world’s richest person again after he gained $9.81 billion on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

Tesla, Musk’s company moved upward to $190 billion, after shares of the electric car company recorded great gains of 6.18%, thereby positioning the market value of Tesla at $712 billion together with the SpaceX, he founded finishing another funding round, taking him to the top of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index for third time this year, 2021.

The daily gains recorded made Musk surpass Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, who is currently worth $185 billion only a  few days ago took back the title as the richest person in the world after Tesla shares plunged to record levels.

Tesla Inc stocks were on a record buying spree at Wednesday’s trading session, indicating that global investors are buying the dip following a four-day plunge that erased the world’s most valuable car company year-to-date gains.

Recent reports disclosed thag SpaceX raised another $850 million this month from a group of leading institutional investors led by Sequoia Capital.

Such investment now puts SpaceX’s valuation at $74 billion, a 60% increase from August, and assisted to increase Musk’s net worth by about $11 billion, according to the index.
