Suspected Armed Robber Set Ablaze After He Robbed A Girl With Toy G.un (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

A suspected robber was set ablaze in Jesse town in Ethiope West local government area of Delta state after he and his partner allegedly robbed a girl, collecting her money and mobile phone.

Witness says the incident happened about 9am today,  November 25, 2020 after girl raised an alarm upon discovering that the g.uns the robbers used, were toy gu.ns.

Crowd started chasing after the robbers, one escaped but the other was unlucky as he was caught, beaten mercilessly and set ab.laze.

This is coming barely two weeks, a similar incident occurred in Effurun, a town near Warri in the same Delta state, where two suspected robbers were beaten and set ablaze. Read the story HERE

No Increase In Petrol Pump Price In March – NNPC Assures Nigerians

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has debunked earlier reports that there will be an addition in the pump price of petrol in this month, March, 2021.

Dr. Kennie Obateru, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, in a press release, informed that the Corporation was even thinking of any increment in the price of petrol in March in order not to destabilise the current talks with organized labour and other stakeholders on an viable  framework that will stop any hardship to the ordinary Nigerian.

Obateru, also warn petroleum products marketers not to be involved in an arbitrary price increase or start hoarding of petrol product so as to create unnatural scarcity and thereby generating unnecessary hardship for Nigerians.

 

The Corporation further assured Nigerians that it has adequate stock of petrol to keep the nation for over more than a month and advised motorists and petrol users to avoid panic buying.

It also solicit relevant the authorities in charge of petrol  regulations to check of the activities of petrol marketers and immediately sanction those who involved in products hoarding or arbitrary increase of pump price for their selfish gain.
