The Nigerian lady named Fortune Ngozi, who called out her late female friend on for dying without paying those she was owing money, has finally revealed, why she did it and went ahead to tender an unreserved apology.
Recall yesterday, a story of an aggrieved lady named Fortune, who posted a photo of a lady on her Facebook account and slammed her for passing away when she’s yet to pay her and some other people their money.. Read story HERE
Well, after been at the receiving end of reactions from social media users, she has deleted the post and apologized for being insensitive and disrespecting the dead.
According to her, she, the late lady and some others were in a local money contribution scheme called “osusu”, in which every member contributes a certain amount of money and the total sum is given to a member at a particular time period, the process continues, till every member receives the total sum.
It seems the deceased has had her turn of the contribution, but died without contributing money to those who haven’t collected yet, which obviously included Fortune.
Fortune, obviously pained that her money was gone, made her to react that way. She said she has finally realised what she did was spiteful and went ahead to tendered a heartfelt apology.
