BREAKING: Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Passengers In Delta(PHOTOS)

Unknown gunmen have allegedly kidnapped an undisclosed number of passengers along the Agbarho/Ughelli expressway, Agbarho near Warri, Delta state.

Reports say that the incident occurred at about 6pm, October 7 2020, under a railway bridge in the expressway, Agbarho.

The passengers were plying the road in their various means of transportation. Some were in a tricycle, some were in transit bus belonging to a popular transport company, some were in a Toyoto Siena and the last set of people were in a red SUV. They were all forced out and taken into the nearby bush.

A witness who preferred to be anonymous, said he heard several gunshots and many vehicles were reversing hastily, while drivers and passengers alike, who couldn’t wait, jumped out their cars scrabbling for safety.

At scene of the incident, the tricycle seat was stained with blood and the windshield of the other vehicles were shattered badly, possibly by the kidnappers, items belonging to some passengers were also seen on the tarred road.

As of the time of report, none of the kidnapped persons has been released as security operatives have taken over the area.

#BlackFriday As Fire Engulfs Onitsha Plastic Market. Destroys Properties Worth Millions Of Naira (Photos)

It’s currently a Black Friday for the people of Onitsha and most especially the traders of Onitsha Plastic Market as fire engulfs more that 40% of the market.

According to BBC News Igbo, they reported that the fire outbreak was said to have started early today morning around 1:50am Nigerian time and it is believed that properties worth millions of Naira was also destroyed.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and the State Police Command has informed the general public that investigations into the matter is currently ongoing.
