“If You Scrap SARS, You Lose The Chance Of Getting Those Doing Well To Continue To Do Well” — Senate President Backs SARS

Nigeria’s Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has rejected the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), stating that scrapping the agencies won’t be the best solution, because it may result to losing the chances of getting those who are performing well to keep doing their good work.

Lawan disclosed this on Wednesday October 7, during the session where the lawmakers deliberated on the recent unlawful killings that are been carried out by the security operatives, SARS.

He further called for the situation to be properly looked into and investigated perfectly.

“There are good people and bad people in SARS. I think scrapping of agencies when you have mistakes may not be the best position. Rule of law should be put in place.” he said.

A man has caused stir on social media after he said that most married women last longer in their marriages as well as build happier home unlike educated women who always rub shoulders with their husbands.

A social media user who shared via Facebook, stated that uneducated women are well co-ordinated, matured and submissive when it comes to marriage, unlike civilised and educated women who have experienced alot and know their right and can stand for their right to challenge their husbands when they are being oppressed.
