A Nigerian lady has dished out some strong words of advice to ladies as well as parents alike, who have female children.
The beautiful lady identified as Kelechi Okoro, on Facebook , admonished parents and guardians to change the mentality of entitlement of their female wards and teach them to be independent.
She said, ” Teach your girls to grow up without a sense of entitlement and some more sense of independence”.
Kelechi, went further and enjoined ladies to stop being a burden to their partners, friends and people around them, to avoid them losing their value and relevance
According to her, “some girls are a burden to their friends and to their partners and they keep wondering why people easily walk away from their lives. Why not? It is simple! You are easily dispensable! “,she said.
She also encouraged ladies, to make sure they are contributing to their relationship both financially and emotionally and not just doing some basic things, every woman can do.
In her words, she added that “Asides the beautiful face, kitchen skills and companionship or all those other traits that are easy to find, what else do you bring to the table? What makes you different? WHAT IS YOUR X FACTOR?”
She further went by telling ladies to evaluate their relationships to know if they are assets or liabilities, she said;
“Sit back and evaluate your relationships!! Are your always on the receiving side? Have you ever thought, if this person cuts me off, what will he/she be losing?
What is your value to your friends, your employees, clients, romantic partners and in any of your relationships? Are you that person who disappears from the picture and nobody notices or feels it? does your presence in other people’s life have an impact or are you just there occupying space? Are you always asking and taking without giving anything back?
Are you an asset that no one wants to lose or a liability waiting to be gotten rid of till something better comes?
In conclusion, she urged ladies to be valuable and stand out, “Be valuable. Bring something to the table. Bring a table. Be the table. ❤️ “ she concluded.
