September 8th 2020 was indeed a sad day for the Amatus who hail from Umuokwu village, Alor London, Anambra state as their beloved son, Mr Rex Ebube Amatu met his untimely death in a ghastly motor accident.
A facebook user identified as Ikenna Augustine shared the news on facebook. He revealed that the deceased Mr Rex Ebube Amatu died just three days after his traditional marriage.
He said Late Mr Rex was stopped by security operatives for a normal stop and check and as he was reversing his car trying to park properly, there was an incoming Mercedes Benz truck model 911 in top speed, obviously trying to evade the security operatives, all of a sudden, it hit mr Rex’s car with great impact. It damaged the car and killed my Rex on the spot.

A newly wedded young man who was identified as Mr. Rex Ebube Amatu lost his life three days after his traditional marriage.
According to report gathered, the incident allegedly occurred when the Nigerian police stopped and asked the deceased to reverse his car for security checks.
It was gathered that while reversing to pack well, a speeding tripper obviously trying to evade the checkpoint rammed the deceased car and mangling it. he died instantly at the spot.

Police Nab Woman For Trying To Sell Her 4-month-old Baby For N40k In Ebonyi
A 32-year-old lady alleged to be a prostitute has been apprehended by the police in Ebonyi state for allegedly trying to sell her little baby for a paltry sum of N40,000.
The woman identified as Victoria Chukwube, was arrested by the police, while she was negotiating to sell her four-month-hold baby boy to raise money to start selling drinks
Loveth Odah, the Ebonyi state police spokesperson, said the suspect was arrested following a tip off.
“So her name is Chukwube Victoria, she told us she is a commercial sex hawker and that she has this baby which she carrying.
“She said if she leaves here she would continue to look out for prospective buyers.
“But we tried to talk to her and to make her see the value of being a mother, but she refused.
“She even told us that if we allow her to go home with the baby she will throw the baby away and that she can’t tell who got her pregnant.”
When she was being interrogated, Chukwube declined to reveal her state of origin or local government but insisted that she wanted to sell the baby because she lacks the financial capacity to take care of him.
“I am from Nigeria, 32 years old, a commercial sex hawker and my baby is just four months old.
“I want to sell the baby at the rate of N40,000 to start up a business. I have a fridge and I reside at Ogbe Hausa in Abakaliki.”
