Reno Omokri , a Nigerian author and former media aide to Ex-Nigerian president, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has dished out an advice to those who want to succeed financially.
Mr Omokri who is a social media mentor and uses his influence to teach, preach and never shy away to say the truth no matter whose ox is gored gave this advice specifically for poor people.
In his recent post, he admonished poor people not to allow shame to deprive them an improvement in their financial situation but to be bold enough to ask for solutions to their money problems from those who are successful.
He reckons that there is no shame in stooping low to ask a successful person how they became successful because in doing so, the poor can learn from the rich on how to become rich and enhance their financial status.
He said receiving money from people can never lead one out of poverty unless one decides to make a decision by soliciting advice from successful people on how the right path they took that made them successful.
Mr Omokri took to his twitter and wrote;
Don’t let shame make you suffer in silence. Be too ashamed to beg, but don’t be too proud or ashamed to ask those who have succeeded how they
did it. If they give you money, you will spend it and remain poor. If they give you advise, you’ll succeed
Omokri’s advice attracted various reactions from his twitter followers. Below are some of them
